An Afternoon at Langley Park Playground Buckinghamshire

Last week we spent some time at a park that we used to visit quite often but haven’t been to since LP was 6 months old, Langley Park country park in Buckinghamshire, managed by Buckinghamshire County Council.

Langley Country Park is a really lovely country park with a lot of woodland and green areas to walk through, lots of benches to stop at and so much to do. It flows nicely into Black Park country park – home of Go Ape aerial adventure parks – and the two country parks are both great places to spend a day with lovely playgrounds too.

Car parking is just £2.70 for the day and that could be the only cost if you took a picnic along with you although there is a cafe and tea room at the start selling ice creams, drinks and snacks – take cash though as cards aren’t accepted. Toilets are clean and easily accessible.

Not far from the car park at Langley Park is a great adventure playground that has an extra wide slide, swings, seesaw, static train to climb on and multiple playhouses to climb on, picnic in and enjoy.

The great thing about this play park is that it’s fully enclosed by fences and it even has picnic benches inside so that you can be with your children but know that they are playing safely, able to explore and discover new things with you right there with them.

Whether you want to go for a walk through the gardens, a bike ride or a family day out Langley Park is a lovely place to visit with lots of little trails to walk along to keep children adventuring, lots of wooded areas where kids can hunt for Gruffalo and a lot of green areas that would be great for a run around.

LP and her friends absolutely love this park, it’s the perfect place for a day out and the adventure playground can keep children of all ages entertained for hours. Remember some cash, suncream and a camera for a lovely day out – and make sure you visit in school holidays too.

You can find out more about Langley Park Country Park over on their website and for reference, the car park address is: Billet Lane, Iver SL0 0LS
