Review: An Afternoon at Langley Park

Last week we spent some time at a park that we used to visit quite often but haven’t been to since LP was 6 months old, Langley Park in Buckinghamshire. Langley Park is a really lovely country park with a lot of woodland and green areas to walk through, lots of benches to stop at and so much to do.

Car parking is just £2.50 for the day and that could be the only cost if you took a picnic along with you although there is a cafe at the start selling ice creams, drinks and snacks – take cash though as cards aren’t accepted. Toilets are clean and easily accessible.

Not far from the car park at Langley Park is a great adventure playground that has an extra wide slide, swings, seesaw, static train to climb on and multiple playhouses to climb on, picnic in and enjoy. The great thing about this play park is that it’s fully enclosed by fences and it even has picnic benches inside so that you can be with your children but know that they are playing safely.

Whether you want to go for a walk, a bike ride or a family day out Langley Park is a lovely place to visit with lots of little trails to walk along to keep children adventuring, lots of wooded areas where kids can hunt for Gruffalo and a lot of green areas that would be great for a run around.

LP and her friends absolutely love this park, it’s the perfect place for a day out and the adventure playground can keep children entertained for hours. Remember some cash, suncream and a camera for a lovely day out.

Disclosure: I was not asked to write this post but thought I’d share our lovely day out as we had such a nice time.

  1. Nice review of Langley Park. I recall seeing signs for this when we visited Black Park over the summer holidays so the two must be close by. Both look to have quite extensive adventure playgrounds with plenty for all ages.
